We are looking forward to another exciting Brighton MTB season!! Team registration is open March 11th to April 14th.

Who Can Register:

  • Junior Devo: Grades 7–8 (Fall 2026)

  • High School: Grades 9–12 (Fall 2026)

​

Costs (Minimum Required):

  • High School (Grades 9–12, Fall 2026)

    • Team Fee: $150

    • NICA Fee: $390*

    • Team Kit: Required for new riders (jersey, bibs/shorts, socks) — approximately $200–$250

    • Minimum Total: $540 + kit ($740–$790 for new riders)

  • Junior Devo (Grades 7–8, Fall 2026)

    • Team Fee: $150

    • NICA Fee: $320*

    • Team Kit: Required for new riders (jersey, bibs/shorts, socks) — approximately $200–$250

    • Minimum Total: $470 + kit ($670–$720 for new riders)

 

*NICA fees are based on 2025 and may be subject to change in 2026.

Optional: Sponsorship can reduce team fees; additional apparel purchases are optional.

Step 1: Get Sponsorship (Optional but Recommended First)

Reducing your team fee before registration is strongly encouraged:

  • Raise $500 → $75 of the team fee waived

  • Raise $1,000 → $150 full team fee waived (does not cover NICA fees)

  • Share sponsorship letters or links with friends, family, or local businesses

  • Starting here allows families to reduce upfront costs before paying the team fee

 

Step 2: Team Registration & Fee

  • Team Registration Dates: March 11th – April 14th 

  • Late Registration: April 15th – April 22nd (late fee applies; absolutely NO registration after April 22nd)

  • Steps:

    1. Complete the Brighton MTB Parent & Rider Form (one per athlete)

    2. Pay the Team Fee:

      • High School: $150

      • Junior Devo: $150

      • Payment via PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay

  • Team fee is separate from NICA fees

Step 3: NICA Registration & Fee

  • Registration Dates: April 1st – May 31st

  • Late Registration: June 1st – June 6th (late fee applies; absolutely NO registration after June 6th)

  • After completing Team registration, families receive a Pit Zone invite from NICA

  • Steps:

    1. Complete NICA registration form (one per athlete)

    2. Pay the NICA Fees:

      • High School: $390

      • Junior Devo: $320

      • Payment via credit card 

  • NICA fee is separate from Team fees

  • Covers all practices, regional races, and Utah High School Cycling League events

  • Financial aid and monthly payments available: UtahMTB.org/scholarships

Step 4: Order Team Kit (Team Kit Required to Race with Team)

  • Returning riders may use their 2025 kit

  • Must be ordered through the DNA team store (link provided after completing Steps 1 & 2)

  • Recommended: full kit (jersey, bibs, socks); bio-fit jersey and gravel bibs recommended; skin suit option available

  • Deadline: April 30th (orders after April 18th will ship in August)

Step 5: TeamSnap App (Required)

  • TeamSnap is required for all families

  • Primary communication platform for schedules, updates, and volunteer sign-ups

  • Families will be added automatically using registration info

  • Download the app on your phone to stay connected

  • More info on TeamSnap setup will be provided after registration

Step 6: Volunteer Requirements (Required)

All families must volunteer for Team and NICA operations. Opportunities include:

  • Practice support: Snacks (minimum twice per athlete)

  • Race support for Team: Minimum two races per athlete

  • Race support for NICA: Minimum one race per athlete

  • Parent Coaches / Ride Leaders: Lead or assist with practice groups

    • Level 2 Coach: Required for groups of 6+ riders

    • Level 1 Coach: Supports Level 2 coaches

    • You must register and complete all training requirements with NICA to be a coach. 

  • Additional ways to help: logistics, feed zones, finish line, photography, fundraising, equipment management

  • Links to volunteer sign-up pages will be available in May

Step 7: Race Schedule & Travel Planning

  • Mark your calendar and book hotels; many venues allow on-site camping

  • 2026 Race Schedule for Region 3:

    • Race #1 - August 22nd, location TBD

    • Race #2 - September 5th, location TBD

    • Race #3 - September 26th, location TBD

    • Race #4 - October 10th, Regional (high school only), location TBD

    • Race #5 - October 23rd to 24th, High School State Championship (must qualify), location TBD

    • High School Western Regional Conference Race: November 14th to 15th, location TBD
