Practice Communication

All team communication happens through TeamSnap.

Do not solicit via TeamSnap.

Coaches use messaging to relay important information.

If you will be late, message your ride leader or head coaches directly.

Mark your availability (“going” or “not going”) by 4 pm the day before practice.

Practice Schedule
-
Start Date: June 2nd.
-
Typical Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 pm (arrive by 5:45 pm).

Occasional Monday practices may occur due to local races.

Locations: Corner Canyon, Park City, Round Valley, Cottonwood Canyons, Solitude, Snowbird, Alta, Bonanza Flats, Little Dell Trail.

Distance and elevation: Practice rides are typically 10+ miles, with elevation varying by trail. Race courses are generally 5 to 7 miles per lap, and training distances are intentionally longer to prepare athletes for race-day demands. Riders pursuing state qualification (Varsity, JVA, JVB, and JVC) may participate in longer or more demanding practices as part of championship-level preparation.

Practice Expectations

Arrive 15 minutes early.

Be ready to ride at the scheduled start time.

Be prepared to ride for approximately 2 hours.

Safety & Notifications
Please alert your ride leader if:

You will be late (do not message the whole team).

You have any medical conditions or limitations.

You need to change groups for a specific day due to fatigue.
