our commitment to sustainability
We value our role as stewards of the environment. Mountain biking is an incredible way to connect with nature, challenge ourselves, and build community. At the same time, riding and racing can impact the trails, venues, and communities that make our sport possible. Our sustainability efforts ensure we can continue enjoying these places for years to come.

Our team’s sustainability efforts include:
-
Trail work to give back to the places we ride.
-
Partnering with food vendors who minimize packaging.
-
Reusable dining supplies — team-issued metal cups (blue background, orange team logo) for drinks and silverware for meals.
-
Recycling of paper, aluminum, and plastic bottles at every race.

How It Works on Race Day
-
Recycling bins: Rectangular, with a green recycling sticker, poster of acceptable items, and blue lid with a can/bottle-sized hole.
-
Trash bins: Circular and unlabeled.
-
Cup & silverware collection: Separate bins for dirty cups and utensils are provided after meals.
How You Can Help
-
Reuse your cup: Please don’t throw away or take home your metal cup or silverware. Use tape to label your cup and stick with it for the season.
-
Sort correctly: Place recyclables in recycling bins and trash in trash bins.
-
Volunteer: Parent help is needed to wash cups/silverware after races and to transport recyclable items to municipal recycling sites.

Your participation makes these efforts possible. Thank you for supporting our sustainability goals and helping keep race venues clean for everyone!
